Purpose of this program is to make possible fast searching for files over the network. Program collects the information about files shared by other computers and memorizes the information in the internal database. The searching process is faster, because the LanBase does not have to rescan the network each time you need a file. The LanBase allows you to download chosen files using multiple sources, reconnect to the broken connections and use alternate locations. Multisourcing makes download process more efficient and shorten the download time. Using alternate locations you can download file even original file is not available. After reconnection to the broken connection LanBase downloads only remainder of the unfinished file. The program can also download files from FTP servers.
